They're probably fine, but they kinda turn a portable device into a kludge monster, don't they? If you're going to want to tack on hardware appendages in order to get better images, wouldn't it be much better to buy a dedicated camera? No matter how good the camera electronics and optics in an i-device may be, they're always going to be a size/quality trade off. Size matters.

Hi, I've been looking at the ads for clip-on photographic lenses to use with either my iPad mini or my 6th generation iPod and I'm wondering how good they are. I'd love to buy a set and take it on vacation with me but wonder how good they are. Any comments? Thanks.
