From my POV it was BAU nothing unusual or out of the ordinary. Stuff goes down there. Some times one service some times a few. Crud. The freaking provisioning outages that Apple has are obscene and no other manufacturer has those types out outages that I have seen yet. And for the record statics tally my anecdotal info is simply what I notice.

Seems a huge outage, affecting many for a long while. The DNS propogation will get some back sooner than others . Seen mentions of the whole day for some. I personally dont have an issue with outages, its life in a technological world, but they usually cause the media to get stuck in. OTOH it was not a lot more than appstores access, updates, which are not critical for anyone.

It's the truth. If messaging is wonky on an iPhone is one of the first places I check.

It's temporary. It happens a lot actually. Business as usual.

I don't know if anyone else is having a problem, but all of a sudden today, the apps can't be updated. I either tap Update All or tap each one individually and it comes back with Update for each app. I rebooted my iPad and that was no help. I am on the latest OS on an iPad Retina from 2013. I don't know whether that is an iPad 3, 4, or whatever.
