Finally. This will change everything.
Streaming with an Apple TV is worse than useless. There is no option for a provider to add their streaming app to an ATV, it is invite only. Outside of the US, an ATV has very limited value and usefulness. If the app store is open to devs, that will allow any country to have devs develop an app for the local viewers, this could mean that the default STB for everyone could be an AppleTV I feel. Awesome
It will probably also start to become a games console.
