Unless the bigger one would look ridiculous on your wrist, you might be happier with it for visibility.    It might just be a bit easier to see, I'd think.  I like that Milanese Loop band very much, too.  Also the two links
 ones, one is space black and looks very attractive.  I just noticed that the Milanese Loop has a magnetic closure, so it might just fit any wrist.  I wonder if the Modern Buckle Bands would be easy to switch.  That's always kind of cool in a watch, switching colors according to what you are wearing!  That "app" I mentioned in the App Store--it's not really an app because you can't download it--is really helpful because it shows the back of the watch, too, when you swipe to the side.  That's how I found out about the magnetic closure.  Just type in Apple Watch and click on "learn more."

I've done the same thing & keep wavering between the two sizes based on my less-than-good eyesight.  I'm also wavering between the Milanese Loop & Modern Buckle bands.  It's a fun decision process for me!

I printed and cut out those actual size pics of the Apple Watch from the link I sent.  I have decided on the 42 mm.  By the way, in case there's someone who hadn't noticed, there is an Apple Watch app you can get in the App Store that has all the different models illustrated.
