She might take a look at the Apple Refurb Store where they have some second generation iPads which would include the regular warranty. I've purchased several refurbs there with excellent results & measurable cost savings.

A friend of mine would like to purchase an regular sized ipad for her father -in-law. He just wants it to play a game so it doesn't have to have cellular service. Her father in law is in Brazil and she would like to take it to him. She leaves April 9th so it's a bit of a rush. It would ship to Potomac, Maryland 20854. Naturally since it can be an older one she would like a good low price.
