Mini's too big. The Touch is the perfect size and weight. Memory's really not a problem - content can come from the cloud, as needed. All they need to do is upgrade the CPU.
5.5 Touch? Or a Mini but I assume the storage space is the gotcha?

I'll miss my iPod Touch if it's not upgraded. It's usable now, but only barely. Of course, they could do something really new and creative with that form factor, but that would not, alas, be Tim Cook's Apple.I miss my iPod 160 classic. I rally do.
Sent from my iPhoneThey still sell the iPod Touch, Nano, & Shuffle, though they do seem to have
discontinued the Classic/Click-wheel line.
I never did get the hang of the click-wheel anyway, I kept messing up on
making my selections.

It seems the iPod has been abandoned but no official word from Apple.
