Re: [iPad] Email Oddity

 

I've been having my own oddity about deleted e-mail.

If I delete too many messages, unread, the resident e-mail app locks up. I'll have to use the Home Button to get out of the app; double-tap the Home button and swipe the app closed, then re-open the app to get it to re-launch.

Last week I received an email, not spam. I read it and deleted it a day or two later. I empty my trash folder a few times a day.
Now when I switch on, if I didn't previously close the email app, that email briefly appears in the inbox as being unread. It then promptly vanishes when I click on the app. Any idea why it keeps appearing like that then goes away?
