Re: [iPad] iPad Air 2 and Verizon

Sometimes I've found that I turn on airport mode or turn off wifi then reconnect and I get better speeds. Otherwise. It just takes patience. I've spent twenty minutes to download one song off iTunes at a local Safeway. Ugh. But I had shopping to do. That helped ;)

I've been at plenty of places with free wifi. Most of it is on overtaxed networks that are slower than molasses. When I was at the Peppermill hotel in Reno, they had the wireless routers in the hallways, with the antennas pointing down from the ceiling. Getting closer to the router didn't help.

Isn't that a bummer? Wifi should be free.
