Re: [iPad] Re: Almost 50% Of iPad 3 Owners Unhappy That Apple Launched iPad 4 So Soon, Survey Reveals | Redmond Pie

I'm not getting an iPad 4 either.  The 4 came out too early but I can u dear stand why.  I can see Apple wanting to switch over to the new 9-pin connector as quickly as possible.  Another reason could be that they wanted to have iPads now come out close to Christmas for more sales.  Too good moves for Apple, I think.  Someone quoted a $299 price for the iPad mini as a good price.  Yes, that's a "sweet spot" price considering its Apple.

Not to say I'm moving away from Apple but I'm waiting for the Google announcement and see if they'll lower their Nexus 7 16GB to $199.  If so, I'll get one.  I want a 7" tablet and to learn a new OS will be fun.  I've played around with a Galaxy tab and still, iOS is much more elegant and easy to learn.  I won't be leaving Apple.  One thing for sure, Apple sure knows how to make an OS that gets out of your way when you have serious work to do :-)

I understand Apple trying to stay ahead of the pack but they had to know when they launched the ipad 3 that the 4 was close behind. I am disappointed. They won't be selling a 4 to me.

I was hoping to get a mini because the size is useful to me but the price is higher than I expected and I am now spoiled by the screen on my ipad 3. They may lose this sale also.

The main, 9.7-inchApple slate was expected to be given one or two menial updates â€" the main one perceived to be the Lightning Dockconnector, but by doubling up the speed of its flagship slab in adding an A6X, dual-core processor, many current third-gen iPad owners feel somewhat cheated.
