That's what I thought too, mediocrity. I can't say that anymore until I use one for awhile and see if its true. Some who have used Android products say that and others don't. I think it is up to the I divi dual person. I don't think And road is going to be as elegant as iOS but then Apple is known for its elegant interfaces and products. The Nexus has a plasticy, rubbery back while the iPad has a beautiful aluminum back, iirc. I think the iPad is better made but for the price, it's worth a try....especially if the price is lowered to $199 for the 16GB.

Correct. Apple doesn't pkay the give it away game. Apple products equal chile. Android products equal mediocrity.~KLM\,,/ 01001100 01001111 01001100 \,,/The price of the iPod Touch (with retina display) would be out of whack if the iPad Mini had a retina display for $329. But, I never planned to buy an iPad Mini, so I'm not disappointed with it or its price.Google is giving the Nexus 7 away. Apple doesn't play that game.Ted

How many of you are going to buy an iPad mini? I would like to but feel the price is too high if it had a retina display, the price would be perfect. So, since there's strong rumors that the Google Nexus 7 16GB will come down in price on Monday to $199, I'll get one. If it doesn't come down, I won't.
Before any of you get your panties in a bunch, yes, I know this is a family group and yes I blasphemed using the GN7 word.
