After Carl's post, I've become a Kickstarter backer for the MyPadLife system.
Meanwhile, I'm using a laptop cushioned holder (with a Truly Awful Picture of a Cat opn the non-upholstered side). I found that the holder can be placed on the bike handles, and the iPad can be placed on the holder's frame. I'd forgotten to mention that mine is a recumbent bike, so at first, I thought that this arrangement would force me to work with arms extended, but I'm comfortable with it. This is not sturdy however, and as I'm your original Ms. Butterfingers, I'am anxious to get the more secure MyPadLife system. As the bike is in the basement, standing on a concrete floor, I shudder to imagine what could happen.
Thanks to all who answered and made suggestions. Food for thought indeed.
