It would be nice to be able to take the SD card from the camera and put of the camera and placed into the ipad.

iTunes and the iPad already does a great job of handling pictures. All you have to do is setup a folder and a bunch of sub folders to keep them organized on you Mac/PC and sync them with the ipad and it's all done for you.
