[iPad] Early adopters

I'm not, usually, an early adopter. In fact, most of the trends I finally start following are on their way out. The exception is the iPad. You better believe I'll be standing in line early in the morning in front of the door of our local Apple Store March 25 (D-Day in Quebec, Canada), the same way I did 10 months ago. Except that this time, I may bring something to sit on, because, y'know, I've come a long way from 30, Baby....

What does it for me is:
-FaceTime - my mind was made up months ago, the first future iPad that would have a camera would be mine the minute, THE INSTANT it became available
-the form factor, a bit thinner, a bit lighter, the slimmer cover
-the huge speed gain

I plan to be very noticeable with my white iPad and PINK yes PINK Smart Cover. Wheeeee!

It will be a 3G again, I couldn't leave home without it. Maybe only a 16G. I'll decide after spending some quality time with GarageBand. I don't store videos on the iPad, and my picture and book and music libraries still left me with a lot of unused space on my current baby. That could change with GB projects, but maybe not as I'm mostly a MIDI instrument user.

(GARAGEBAND for $5!!!!! Double, triple wheeeee!)
