I have gotten use to it. I thinks it's different because we are use to manually pressing something that moves. I use it in meetings at work. People see my fingers moving but don't hear anything. 
I do agree. It's an adjustment. Wouldn't it be something if they made full size keyboards like the iPads keyboard? Hummmmm
