Have not used the site you reference. Just looking at it I would not bother. Scam or not.
You can find a ton of free ebooks, mostly classics as Apple Apps, on iBooks, from Amazon using the iPad Kindle App to read, the Nook App. My library even offers some ebooks. I've never tried them, just get the audiobooks.
For your $125 you can buy 8-12 books. That's more than the average person reads a year.
The App goodreader is a nice program to read those ebooks.
