[MacBook] Re: iPad & Open Office

The other point I wanted to make is how I transfer documents. If I am working with a client, I will transfer proposals, worksheets, etc in PDF format. So, I create in Pages (Word equivalent) or Keynote (Powerpoint equivalent) and then export to pdfs.

I do this because I don't want documents to be changed easily.

In order to read my Powerpoint files on iPad, then I use Goodreader. I have tried other apps, but Good reader has some file management and I can project PDFs with my VGA connector; another plus for me.

And, I am trying to make this simple so I don't have a lot of apps clogging up my iPad. I can do 90% of what I need with Page and Keynote, importing images from iPhoto and music from Itunes. AGain, I am trying to keep everything possible in a MAC environment.

Cheers,
Mary Ellyn
