[iPad] Deleting Searched Items

 

Is there any way to delete many or preferably all of the items you have discovered on a Spotlight search on iPhone or iPad without moving each to the Trash and then deleting them all? My iPhone 3GS is running 4.0.2 and iPad 3.2.1.
