If you are listening over the speaker(s) in an iPhone or iPad, or earbuds, or the great majority of headphones, or in a moving vehicle, or with the A/C running in the background — and so on — "fidelity" any higher than AAC/128 mono/256 stereo seems a great waste of bandwidth to me.
