As in the Samsung TV supports DLNA?? You might try this:

Otherwise, Apple uses AirPlay, not DLNA - AirPlay from iDevices to any brand TV is quite easy with an AppleTV.... or the direct method with cable & the digital av adaptor.

Thanks for that info Kris. One of your links sent me to "AllCast" -- an app that featured streaming to a Samsung Smart TV, but after getting, and installing it, there were no TV choices available to stream to during application set-up.Norm------ Original Message ------From: "Kris Murray krismurray@gmail.com [iPad]" <iPad@yahoogroups.com>Sent: 7/19/2015 3:36:09 PMSubject: Re: [iPad] iPad Air 2 Screen Mirroring - how to...?My bet is that Sammy tvs will mirror content from Sammy devices *only* or android only. But Google offers this.AndMaybe that will help.

Hi,I'm trying to get familiar with my first, and only mobile device... a new Apple iPad Air 2.We have a relatively new Samsung LED Smart TV, which allows me to choose a compatible device, from which I can do "screen mirroring" (... send whatever is on the iPad screen, to the TV). The iPad is running on my WiFi network, but there is no "Screen mirroring" entry in my iPad settings. I would think my Air-2 would be contemporary enough to be the "compatible device", that the TV is looking for ...but maybe not???So... is there a way to put the iPad Air 2 screen contents on our Samsung "Smart TV"?Thanks for you help,Norm in NJ(My main machine, and experience... a Dell desktop w/WIN 7 PRO.)
