If iOS were running the air-traffic-control system, it'd have to be more reliable. There was a news item recently about an airline's flights being disrupted because an iPad app pilots were depending on suddenly failed in multiple cockpits. That probably was not Apple's fault, but the iPad got all the bad publicity. Most customers will put up with a relatively high level of bugginess, but some customers will not.

It's not like simply putting new wheels on a car. An operating system is millions of millions of lines of code. We have point releases because if this. Errors happen.

You will never get a new operating system without a single bug in it. Not gonna happen. Therefore. Expect mistakes to happen and be less disappointed when the inevitable mistake does occur. That's how I roll.
