Airdrop is Apple, yes you can copy. You cannot copy to non Apple devices, nor can you play musc on any BT device, is another example.

I was at my neighbours once, having a quiet one (well not so quiet) and they were all playing music of their cheap, old, non smartphones to a Samsung HT reciever that had Bluetooth. I couldn't do that as it wasnt supported. I could see it, that was all. Slightly embarrasing as I stood their with my fancy Apple smartphone

If i remember correctly you can copy using
airdrop which works on Bluetooth.

Apples wifi allows other devices to

connect. Also Bluetooth. Non Apple devices can indeed

connect. I've done both.
