Unnecessary trouble:
1. I mostly listen to podcasts (i.e., voice recording).
2. Typically the A/C is on now, and for the next 4 months (noise pollution).
3. And for another 4+ months of the year the heater (and interior fan) is on (more noise pollution).
If I were driving cross-country for days in a row, I would plug it in, but not for running around locally.
