They aren't cleaned up automatically, but there is a built in tool to do it.
I gotta say reading Kris's tomes has been hilarious. I can't figure out why switching an OS for someone with a long history of computers even thinks it is a daunting task.
So, Kris, I gotta ask — Hyperbole much?? :)

- ipdt5One other biggie I forgot was the installation process. Windows throws files all over the place and you can guarantee a buildup over time of leftovers.
