Terry, I tried my AT&T Universal and a Discover. Will try my Chase. And I do have ST. Is it up and running yet? Or do I need a credit card from them? Need to stop in.

I was able to add chase and American Express. My bank is suntrust and they are now set up for Apple Pay so I'm getting a card from them. Some banks are a tad slow. If you have American Express card or the Chase bank Visa they will go on. The chase card didn't go on the first time I tried and I thought it might be because is was an Amazon rewards card so I called Chase. They told me that wasn't the case and it would be working soon. A couple of days later it went on fine.
