The Law of Diminishing ReturnsTake a 1965 sedan car. Lots of innovation is possible.Take a 2015 sedan car, what can you innovate? Its all there, been done. Somethings will turn up, but when a product is mature, what can you innovate?
Lots. Automobile innovation has been zooming ahead lately.
And tech has innovation in its DNA. But Apple is a mature business, no longer Steve Jobs' plaything. More's the pity. Still, I imagine there'll be small innovations, like the Watch. Hopefully, they'll do something smart and worthwhile with Apple TV. And I hope they'll work very hard with AirPlay, but I don't expect much there. Really new stuff? Unlikely. They're just too big.
