Delete from server is in the advanced settings on your computer.

Most recently, it was POP.  No access to server.  Deleted all, and inbox was empty, but in a few seconds, all reappeared there.

I'm hoping this egg means a real delete-all is in the works.  Wonder why it's been so long coming.  What could have been the difficulty?

If it's Pop delete from server. Plus, go to Trash after you've moved the mail there and delete all from trash.

The original poster, as I recall, said that she found that messages were only apparently deleted - that they subsequently reappeared.  I'm having the same problem.  I seem to recall that you had a fix for this, but I can't remember what it was.

One more thing if you have a lot if mail to delete after you take your finger off Move it can take awhile...several minutes before the mailboxes appear for you to choose trash. I just put my iOS device aside and check later. It has always worked but with a lot to delete it is not instant.
