Re: [iPad] Apple devices 'to overtake Windows by 2015'

Play Store is fine. BUT, and its a big but, is ,many apps are buggy, many are littered with ads. I think I have only had one or two Apple apps that had ads. The issue is app quality for Android. Good and great apps are there, but what do you do? Try over and over, PITB.

Discoverability is a pain on both. Maybe Apple can set maybe 20, 30, 50 official categories and have the apps tagged? Or do they do that now? Google is often a sound way to find them. Maybe heaps of categories and each has many sub categories, so you can choose the category/sub category/sub category and search there? Google it may be easier

Same with apples store, right? Discoverability is a nightmare.. Any thoughtful ideas on a solution?

That is a very good question. They possibly use apps but fewer apps as its a PITB finding a good one
