[iPad] No Connection to iTunes

 

I'm trying to buy a book from iBooks and after selecting the book, clicking on "buy now", and entering my password, I get a pop up message saying "Cannot connect to iTunes Store". I've restarted my iPad several times with no results. Help, please.
