Prices are often set by each local retailer, so I think it would be an
impossible thing to find an app that would be able to access each
store's price/barcode database to find and add up the prices of what
you've scanned. I would think the best you could hope for would be
national chains where the price is standard for at least a region if not
for the whole country. But local grocery stores would be a very
different thing.
