Usually, the file format may need to be changed. You can do this with a free computer based app called "Adapter" or a paid one at the Mac app store for Mac Desktops called Permute ($14.99)
I have also tried it with Handbrake, but now *I* have an issue with importing them to library as m4v. Not sure what I may be doing wrong, but will try today and let 'y'all know….If I find out.
Drag and drop, "Import to Library" whatever, it ain't putting' my American "Torchwood" in there, bro! There IS a "VLC" Icon in the movie, so I may have to change that to Quicktime or something.

Murray...I cannot figure how to move the movies to iTunes..I cannot seem to "drag" the individual VCL movie file there. Will itunes accept the VCL file as is or do I have to change the file format? Does anyone know how to do this.
