Would using these plugins to remove the DRM mean the books would then be open to copying to other devices? Kind of like what Napster started out doing with music? I know that sort of thing is illegal. I'm just wondering if removing the DRM would make it possible.C

I haven't used them--yet--, but there are Calibre plugins that deal with DRM's. I think there are ones for everything except the Apple book store DRM. There is certainly one for the Kindle. I assume that the plugins allow you to convert using Calibre otherwise there would be no need for them. These are not from the author of Calibre, but you can find them using a Google search for Calibre plugins.
