What do you folks think about the proposed ATT/T-Mobile merger? Will it be bad for consumers or good?
I can see both sides of the argument. If it brings greater coverage to the high-speed network that is a good thing. It seems nutty for four different companies to be out there duplicating coverage with conflicting systems. But at the same time, history has shown that all we can expect from lack of competition is a price gouging party by the survivor(s). It's hard for me to imagine a scenario where the customer gets the most bang for his/her buck.
