It has been awhile since I've bought a book at Amazon, do you have to tell
it to send to your iPad or does it just show up automagically when you run
your Kindle app on the iPad?
==========================================
When you buy it at Amazon you tell it where to deliver it. You do have to
tell it one place to send it.
The book will also be in your archive if you want to d/l to a different
reader/device from the one you specified at purchase time.
Then the next time you open the Kindle app on the <whichever device, pc,
etc.> it will d/l the new book automatically (but of course if you're
online!) as part of the "sync & checking for new items" process.
I've had wireless problems lately so I bought a book (from my pc) for
delivery to my iPad & wandered by a local hotspot for a quick d/l -- didn't
want to have to do the search & buy that way (lurking outside Starbucks,
actually) just needed the wifi to d/l the new book. I had previously d/l it
to my iphone from the archive.
