Subject: Re: [iPad] iBooks
I have several devices I set up with Amazon Kindle so when I buy a book I
get a drop down menu where I select the device I want it delivered to. At
any time I can go to Accounts and sign in then I go to manage digital media
where all of my books are listed. I can download any books to any device I
choose. Sometimes when I buy a book I have them send it to my iPad and then
decide I also want it on my iPhone so I just go to my Account and send it to
my iPhone.

You shouldn't even need to do that.
Go to the Home page in the Kindle app, scroll down to <Archive> or on the
iPad select it at the bottom of the screen, and scroll through your archive
list. No signing in or going to account involved. This is also way faster
than the method you mention and you can do a quick-select of several books
to d/l.
Same thing if you delete (i.e. archive) a book from your device & want to
re-d/l it.
