On your recommendation I also purchased this case. I received it yesterday.
Although it feels fairly light when you hold it without the iPad it does seem to add some weight to the already heavy (for me) device.
Until I can remember how to get the case into all the different positions I keep thinking that an engineering degree would be helpful to figure it out. Even the instructions on the decal had me scratching my head. I am sure that will be resolved with use.
It seems to be well made although I always wonder about just how long plastic pieces that bend will last before they break off from use. I think I am going to revisit the warranty info out of curiosity.
The aluminum is beautiful and it is a shame that it will scratch with use.
All in all a very nicely thought out and well made case!
