So how does JB live with iTunes apps?
Does it play nicely with whatever I've alread got -- and what if I get
updates to the non-JB apps?

I just *don't need* to complicate my keeping-up-with-things unnecessarily --
I have enough trouble keeping up with things I can't opt out of &/or that
are way more important than what I've heard JB can do for me (none of which
interests me anyway....) :-)

FYI: a jailbreak is software that gets installed that itunes happily will
overwrite. and its a webpage and one click to install. its more difficult to
connect to itunes and hit rtestore (not thta that is difficult really)
