[MacBook] too many choices

Or, gasp, you could buy an iPad and a netbook!
iPad is great for reading books I've heard, it's in color.  I don't have a Kindle so can't compare.  I have an iPad and 13" MBP and love both.  I'm not a very big lady and don't consider it a chore to "lug around" a 13" MBP.  I'm sure the Air has it's place but it also lacks features!    :-)  Keep dithering, no hurry.  Or is there?
Go to the Apple store (if you can, nearest one is 70 miles for me.) and "play"!!!  Karen

Don't be so sure you won't use an iPad for books. I haven't picked up my kindle since getting an iPad I really love my Kindle books more on the iPad. Just some to consider.

brings the cost nearly even with the iPad/Pro combo option, since I'd need to buy a monitor.  And it wouldn't look as good on my desk.
