Yes both printing sharing and scanning sharing are turned on. All others are turned off. Print sharing works wirelessly for both MacBooks printing over the local network (Time Capsule).
System Preferences/Sharing//printing and scanning on.
I'm thinking something needs to be turned on but I am mystified. I will continue reading up on the subject. You would think iTunes would be the avenue for iPad printing. I'll keep plugging away.
