I just recently went through both of the upgrades and encountered error 14 which was resolved with a full restore both times. This is the bad/good news.
The not so good news is the amount of work effort to reconstruct my folders. Is there something I have missed as the folder reconstruction is a real pain?

I am using current iTunes on WinXP all patched current. Is there anything to avoid error 14?
