If I were in the market today, I'd certainly wait the week to buy the iPad V2 for the higher speed processor and the two cameras. But, I've a 4G iPod Touch that provides the cameras and fits in my pocket, which my iPod V1 does not, that works quite well with FaceTime. So, like you, I've no real need to move from V1 to V2. Now, when the iPad gets a retina display, it'll be a different story!
