I use ACooksBooks and it doesn't run in iDevices yet. I can import directly into it from the web or email. I'm happy with it and hope soon we'll have a version fir iPad.
It's Mac only by the way. Are iPads Mac only?

There is a recipe app called "Paprika" that allows you to download recipes from the internet right into the app. You can also enter your own recipes and create your own categories for them. I find myself downloading most of my recipes from www.allrecipes.com I open the Paprika app and then surf to the all recipes site and import recipes that interest me. You can also edit recipes if you prefer.----- Original Message -----From: Terry PogueSent: Monday, February 21, 2011 3:59 PMSubject: Re: [iPad] Considering getting an iPadI read all my newspapers each morning
Watch movies & tv shoes
Listen to audiobooks
Read kindle books
Do email and surf web
Follow twitter and a little facebook
My recipe software isn't ready for iDevices but I copy recipes and email to myself so I can import them when I turn on my computer
Play solitaire
Check addresses/phone numbers when I need them
Check calendar for appointments
Order groceries thru Peapod
Use mobile.me
First thing I turn on in the morning and the last thing I turn off at night when I plug it in
oh, did I say I turn on cellular data when I go out ao I can do any of these things when I am away from my home network.
I probably forgot some stuff
Two things mine won't do, play flash or print.
