Ok, guys, this place - if you're an Apple fan - is pretty great. Transparent stairs or elevator inside the big Apple cube on 5th Ave. open 24/7 and at 11:00 pm the place was very busy. Displays of all kinds of Apple Watches and every other excellent Apple product. I tried on several versions of the 38mm watch. Beautiful design-I love the taptic feature-and the apps were much faster to load than I had been led to believe by reading reviews.
We got a nice tour of the various watch and band choices and had the opportunity to try them on and play with demos too.
Very nice helpful employees too.
I'm 5' tall and fwiw, even the 38mm is too big and most importantly, too heavy for me. I'm a major gadget fan so I would totally buy one if it felt good on my arm. Am hoping that within another generation or two the Watch becomes lighter and until then I'll be forced to envy those of you who have one. If you're bigger or a guy it's probably great right now. My husband tried on a 42 mm sport with the mesh band and it looked fabulous on him.
