Open the contact that you no longer want, tap the Edit button at the right & then scroll all the way to the bottom of the screen to tap the Delete button.

I know this has something to do with the iPad tas the Pad and the iPhone are connected. So my question to you on my iPhone I have contacts that have been connected through Facebook people that I do not want in my contacts how do I go about deleting these people when I pull up my contacts there is no delete button and I am unsure how to get rid of these contacts in both the iPhone and the iPad. Thanks for any help or tips you can give me
