It's almost impossible to pinpoint the fault. Could be anywhere in the long chain between screen and server. The new normal: it's broken and it's your fault and no one will fix it. Sigh.
I have not had an issue with it locking up and it runs all day everyday. I have had to reboot it before, but never on a regular basis or even to a degree that would recall it.
