When you cable up the device to the computer, and select the device in
iTunes, there are choices of types of content. Music, apps, books, etc.
Mavericks does *not* have the info tab; Windows does.

I don't know what info tab you might be talking about. command I (that's eye
not L) brings up all the information about the selected tune in iTunes on
Mavericks.
