I would expect accessing email from anywhere, anyhow. As all accesses are sign ins, even if you don't physically sign in if its set to auto sign in
Its a good idea, I work for a telco and we have a gazillion email accounts that are not in use. 90 days is a bit short, but as long as they give adequate warning, perhaps to an alternative email address, and if they can be easily reactivated if required without losing anything, its a sound idea. Keeping an email system efficient is a good thing

Subject: [iPad] AOL Email Signing In Question
Paid AOL has been dropped. Now, I get free AOL. In the emai from AOL today, it says that I have to "sign in" to AOL every 90 days to keep my account from being deleted. Can I just continue to check my email everyday on my iPad or Fire Tablets as a sign in or do I need to sign in using my laptop?
