| and it really bugged me because I'm paying for it to have Internet access whenever I don't have WiFi. Since the list is so quiet, thought I'd tell you about this annoying little situation. I have checked and double-checked my settings, reset the device, the network, done everything but restore it to factory condition. Showed it to my friend who knows electronics and especially Apple devices better than anyone I know, got some suggestions from him, still no luck! What the heck?!!! Today I went to my provider to see if he could figure it out. He checked all the same things I had checked, made a couple of little changes... Still nothing! Then he removed the SIM card and checked it out, only to find out that it was "working perfectly" and was "ready to go." Put the card back in, I put in the code, and voilà! It was suddenly working! He had no explanation and told me this doesn't happen often.
