Air Gestures like the S4 uses would be the "game changer".

easily the screen could be cleaned so I felt better.
On that demo model, the fingerprints were so thick they affected how the
screen looked when it was on. On the 2 iPads I've owned plus my iPhone5
when I can see some fingerprints if the screens are turned off, they
don't interfere with visibility since I don't let them stay there very long.
I see no reason that would change if I had a computer monitor that was
for my personal use -- public touch screen devices are often a mess, though.
