Re: [iPad] Car holder

OK. Now I see why people are making assumptions.  The only reason an iPad should be turned on in a moving car is if it is providing audible turn-by-turn directions the same as a smaller GPS device does and should be sitting off to the side. Attaching anything to your steering wheel will impair your driving, but I do not want to use my iPad while driving, I want to use it while waiting 30 minutes for my niece to finish her music lesson or 2 hours while she is at swimming practice.

So-called "global warming" is just a secret ploy by wacko tree-huggers to
make America energy independent, clean our air and water, improve the fuel
efficiency
of our vehicles, kick-start 21st-century industries, and make our
cities safer and more livable. Don't let them get away with it!

This is scary...  http://www.steering-wheel-ipad.com/

Titled, "Promoting Safe and Productive Automotive Technology"

"The driver can shift their gaze between the iPad and the road ahead
with almost no eye movement. With its large display and
easy-to-navigate user interface, the iPad can be used with minimal
driver distraction. An iPad mounted on a steering wheel is far less
distracting than trying to use a cell phone to read or send a text
message while driving."
