I really can't say if this will work with all pdf's, but you can try this. If you tap on the right top of the pdf page, you might be able to see "open in ibooks". It flashes very quick, so if you don't tap on it right away, just tap on the page again. The page(s) will load right in ibooks very quickly. The only thing that I couldn't do was to open up a zip file on my ipad. I was going to send the zip file to dropbox, but the link wouldn't work.

I use dropbox beause with dropbox I can access things from any of my devices... Any computer, iPad, iPhone. I created a folder I call 'Crochet Stuff' and keep all patterns, etc. there.
